Thanks to all the amazing artists who came in March, we were able to capture a few miles of video of the river and of us working with costume theater during South by Southwest. While we were working on one of our projects, one of the Mangola artists, Jen Mickelborough, ended up playing a small part in a Rolling Stone video! (It's for a profile on the band Chester French.)

Keep checking the video and photo pages for the latest uploads. I'm not much of a filmmaker but between Teresa's small camera and my iMovie I sliced together some of our images from the Austin Kite Festival--part of the recurring Mangola themes of red balloons and kites floating above the city.

upcoming dates

We're hosting an arts collaboration in Austin on March 14-16. The weekend will involve a collaboration of artists doing photography, video, staged photography in costumes, illustration, writing, all around the theme of Austin, and who she is as a city. This is also the peak weekend of South by Southwest Music Festival, which is a bit crazy but a great chance to see what Austin feels like during one of the largest music festivals/conferences in America.
